Gender and gender relations are socially constructed and, therefore, embedded in the socio-cultural context not only in each country but also in each region or area besides in different times. Gender is not only the concern about women and their roles but also about gender relations and, therefore, one must see the problems and concerns of both men and women but specially so of women because of persisting inequalities and unequal access of women to resources and opportunities.
